IMPROV FOUNDATION 2

Sundays Noon-2:30pm (2.5 Hours)

September 20 - October 25 (5 Weeks, No Class Oct 11)

Improv Foundation 2 builds on the skills introduced in Improv 1, but with a particular focus on action, making the moments matter to the characters having them, and starting into the essence of the scenes.

Goal: To build on the skills introduced in Improv Foundation 1 with particular focus on action and stakes.

Prerequisite: Improv Foundation 1 or equivalent

Class Size: 10 people max

Duration: 12 hours total - 5 Weeks (2.5 Hrs/Class). See individual section details. It may also be available as a Two Day Intensive

Teachers

Alex Cabrera Aragon

Alex is a writer and performer who has been improvising for over ten years. Born and raised in Toronto, Alex has studied at UCB LA and Bad Dog Theatre. She performs regularly on shows like BEER BEER as well as with various troupes including BRUCE, SMOOCH, and most recently, Bad Dog Theatre’s FEATURED PLAYERS. Improv has helped her career as a writer on children’s television shows like POLLY POCKET, XAVIER RIDDLE AND THE SECRET MUSEUM and DINO RANCH: ISLAND EXPLORERS. Alex is passionate about providing a safe and fun improv space for people to take chances, make mistakes and get messy! Her and Mrs.Frizzle have a lot in common.
