IMPROV FOR ACTORS 2

Mondays 2pm-4:30pm (2.5 Hours)

November 9 - December 7 (5 Weeks)

Description: Improv For Actors 2 takes students further into improvisation technique. Building on the skills learned in the first level, students will learn how to incorporate improv to their personal toolkits and apply it toward their performances. This level will include more focus on scenework and practical application, so that students can make the most of their career opportunities.

Goal: To build on the skills learned in Improv For Actors 1 and go deeper into structure, scenework, and more advanced techniques.

Prerequisite: Improv For Actors 1 or similar improv-specific experience. Intended for students with an acting practice (ie professional level experience and/or training)

About Andrew: Andrew Bushell is an actor, improvisor, and Second City Mainstage Alum. His extensive work in television includes recurring roles on The Audacity (AMC), Hudson & Rex (Global), The Spencer Sisters (CW), Strays (CBC), TallBoyz (CBC), Second Jen (CityTV), Designated Survivor (Netflix), and Defiance (Syfy). Andrew has also co-starred in over 20(!) romantic/Christmas MOWs for Hallmark, Own, and Lifetime.

Class Size: 10 people max.

Duration: 5 x 2.5 hour weekly classes.

Bad Dog Studio (392 Spadina Ave)

Bad Dog's Studios are located at 392 Spadina Ave on the 2nd Floor. There are two studios within - Studio 875 & Studio 138. Your welcome email will confirm which room your class will be using. There are also whiteboards by each door to indicate. Venue Accessibility: This class location is on the second floor with 15-20 steps. It is not wheelchair accessible.
