IMPROV FOUNDATION 2

Tuesdays 6pm-9pm (3 Hours)

August 4 - August 25 (4 Weeks)

Improv Foundation 2 builds on the skills introduced in Improv 1, but with a particular focus on action, making the moments matter to the characters having them, and starting into the essence of the scenes.

Goal: To build on the skills introduced in Improv Foundation 1 with particular focus on action and stakes.

Prerequisite: Improv Foundation 1 or equivalent

Class Size: 10 people max

Duration: 12 hours total - Sections may be 6 Weeks (2 Hrs/Class), 5 Weeks (2.5 Hrs/Class), or 4 Weeks (3 Hrs/Class). See individual section details. It may also be available as a Two Day Intensive

Location: Either Bad Dog Studio (392 Spadina Ave) or CSI Spadina (192 Spadina Ave). See section details.

Teachers

Elanja Corosky

Elanja Corosky (she/her) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Toronto, ON. Hailing from Edmonton, AB she has performed across Canada and around the world including South Africa, Japan, and Portugal. She is know to cause trouble on stage (regularly) with her all-queer improv troupe "Hard Yas" and her musical improv troupe, "RATS! Another Musical?". When she's not walking dogs you can find her writing, acting, singing, producing, and generally causing trouble off stage.

CSI Spadina (192 Spadina Ave)

CSI Spadina (192 Spadina Ave) is a shared working space for non-profit organizations out of which Bad Dog Academy runs certain classes. It is just down the street from our home studios.
