Description: Level up your improvised storytelling through style and genre with Sex T-Rex's Julian Frid! Learn how tips and tricks to add more visual flair to your performances and the methods that Sex T-Rex uses to communicate and execute cinematic techniques in an live improv context.

Prerequisite: Improv Foundation 2 or equivalent.

About The Instructor: Julian Frid is an actor, comedian, and a founding member of award-winning comedy juggernaut Sex T-Rex - with whom he has toured the country and co-created several acclaimed works. These productions, all renowned for their imaginative explorations of genre and visual style, have won them the Dora Award for Best Ensemble, the Just For Laughs Best Comedy Award, the Second City Outstanding Comedy Award, and dozens of Best of the Fringe honours. Outside of their full theatrical productions, Julian and Sex T-Rex present D&D Live and Blockbuster Week with Bad Dog. When not performing, Julian leads the improv programming at Hart House.

Bad Dog Studio (392 Spadina Ave)

Bad Dog's Studios are located at 392 Spadina Ave on the 2nd Floor. There are two studios within - Studio 875 & Studio 138. Your welcome email will confirm which room your class will be using. There are also whiteboards by each door to indicate. Venue Accessibility: This class location is on the second floor with 15-20 steps. It is not wheelchair accessible.
