Description: If you're an improvisor that gets stuck in the moment, it's not because you can't think of anything - it's because you're thinking too much. In this workshop, students will learn techniques to help them stop overthinking and start feeling in the moment. Students will learn how to overcome their internal judgment, dive into the unknown, trust their scene partners, and feel the joy that comes from embracing true spontaneity. Whether you're in the process of learning improv for the first time or an experienced improvisor hoping to benefit from new techniques, this class is all about finding and enjoying the fun.

Prerequisite: Improv Foundation 1 or equivalents.

About The Instructor: Alex Cabrera-Aragon has been a writer and improvisor since 2014. As a member of Bad Dog's Feature Players Ensemble, she co-created the show People Of The City which debuted at Factory Theatre earlier this year and featured such special guests as Mayor Olivia Chow. Alex has also performed and toured with the troupes The Kids Table and Bruce. She studied screenwriting at TMU and under the mentorship of writer-producer Anthony Q. Ferrell (The Office, Run The Burbs).
