LONGFORM: PRETTY FLOWER

Saturdays Noon-2:30pm (2.5 Hours)

November 7 - December 5 (5 Weeks)

Description: Learn and practice one of the most popular formats in longform improv! Pretty Flower (aka Spokane aka Family Guy) that mixes a central grounded scene with fast-paced (and game-driven) cutaways. Students will learn the form's unique structure as well as best practices to maximize its comedic potential. The class ensemble will learn how to weave off tangental scenes from a strong base scene while building their overall improv performance toolkit. This class will have an on-stage performance opportunity.

Prerequisite: Any prior Longform class or equivalent experience (ie Armando, La Ronde, Longform 1-3, Studio Series, etc.)

Price: $375+HST

All Bad Dog Academy classes are delivered at either Bad Dog Studio (392 Spadina Ave) or CSI Spadina (192 Spadina Ave). If a class is listed as Location TBD, it means which of the two locations is not yet confirmed. Those registered for a Location TBD class will be notified when it is confirmed. Each location is roughly 400 meters from the other. 392 Spadina Ave has unavoidable stairs (15-20) and 192 Spadina Ave has full accessibility features (ramps, elevators, etc.)
