Description: Learn how to better integrate aspects of genre and visual style into your improvised storytelling! Learn how to communicate and execute cinematic techniques (ie “camera” movement, montage, slow motion, etc.) in a real-time live improv context and take your performances to the next level.
Prerequisite: Improv Foundation 2 or equivalent
About The Instructor: Seann Murray is an theatre artist and member of the award-winning troupe Sex T-Rex. With Sex T-Rex, Seann has co-created and toured the country with several hit comedy shows noted for their cinematic presentation and integration of unique visual style. These productions - such as SwordPlay, Wasteland, Watch Out, WildKat!, and Callaghan - have won them Best Ensemble from the Dora Awards, the Just For Laughs Best Comedy Award, the Second City Outstanding Comedy Award, and dozens of Best of the Fringe honours. When not performing on-stage, Seann tours the world as an in-demand comedy stage manager and serves as Bad Dog's technical director.
