Description: So often we’re stuck in a scene thinking “I don’t know what to do” or “I don’t know what to say.” As we stress out looking for the perfect move, we forget the most powerful tools we have in our belt: Stillness and Silence. While those choices can be scary, they are the ones we use the least, but often the ones that have the most impact. In this workshop, you will learn to harness the power of stillness and silence, learn to sit in the uncomfortableness of those moments and mine them for comedy. Perfect for improvisers who have a good base in scenic improv and are looking to add more power to their game.
Prerequisite: Experience with improv scenework (Improv Foundation 2 or equivalent)
