SHORTFORM GAMES

Mondays 6pm-8:30pm (2.5 Hours)

November 9 - December 7 (5 Weeks)

This class is all about shortform improv games for both fun and performance. Play a variety of improv games, learn techniques to maximize their comedic potential, and build your overall shortform improv skillset. Bad Dog has been producing Toronto's best shortform improv shows for decades - from our Community Bucket Show to Theatresports, Toronto's longest running improv show. So students will enjoy both the fun of play and the fun of putting it on stage!

Goal: To build on the skills from Improv Foundations 1-4 with a focus on shortform games and techniques. Students will also have an opportunity to perform a shortform class set on stage.

Prerequisite: Improv Foundation 4 or equivalent

Duration: 12 hours total - Either 5 weeks

Price: $350+HST

Class Size: 10 Maximum

Location: Either Bad Dog Studio (392 Spadina Ave) or CSI Spadina (192 Spadina Ave) (see individual section detail)

All Bad Dog Academy classes are delivered at either Bad Dog Studio (392 Spadina Ave) or CSI Spadina (192 Spadina Ave). If a class is listed as Location TBD, it means which of the two locations is not yet confirmed. Those registered for a Location TBD class will be notified when it is confirmed. Each location is roughly 400 meters from the other. 392 Spadina Ave has unavoidable stairs (15-20) and 192 Spadina Ave has full accessibility features (ramps, elevators, etc.)
