STAND UP: Writing & Performance

Wednesdays 6pm-8:30pm (2.5 Hours)

September 16 - October 14 (5 Weeks)

Description: Learn stand up comedy basics in this six week class. Learn how to turn your sensibility and point of view into stand-up style jokes and stories! Students will leave with a tight (and audience-ready) five-to-seven minute set.

Goal: To learn methods for joke writing and to build a 5-minute set that can be used on stage

Prerequisite: N/A

Class Size: 10 people max

Duration: 12 hours total, 5 weeks (2.5 Hrs/Class)
