Studio Series Auditions (Oct 2026)

Audition slots are available on Sun Oct 18 and Wed Oct 21 @ Bad Dog Studios - 392 Spadina Ave. The auditions are for the upcoming Harold Studio Program. Please read below for more information.

ON THE AUDITIONS & PROGRAM:

Students may audition even if they are not available or interested in the specific corresponding programs.

But those who are auditioning for consideration in the Harold Studio Program should be prepared for the a 3-Level (approx. 6 months) Studio Series commitment. Classes will start in Term 6 2026 (Nov-Dec), continue into Term 1 2027 (Jan-Feb), and finish in Term 2 2026 (Mar-Apr) - with the same ensemble and director. Each term consists of around 21 hours of class time plus 2 additional performances in front of an audience ($350+HST per term). There will also be graduation shows in April (dates TBD).

HAROLD STUDIO SERIES

Tuesdays 6pm-9pm (3 Hours)

Level 1: Nov 3 - Dec 8 (6 Weeks)

Level 2: Jan 5 - Feb 23 (8 Weeks)

Level 3: Mar 9 - Apr 20 (7 Weeks)

$350+HST per term

Description: This Studio Ensemble is focused on “The Harold” form - the one of the most notable and challenging of the classic longform styles. This class will focus on building groupmind, exploring gameplay tools, deconstructing theme, and understanding the ins and outs of the Harold to create excellent improvised works.
