Gavin Williams is a Toronto-based actor and improviser with a background in both scripted and unscripted performance. Originally from London, Gavin moved to Canada to earn a Theatre degree and study improvisation under renowned mentors Denis Cahill and Keith Johnstone at Calgary’s Loose Moose Theatre. Since 2012, he’s been a fixture in Toronto’s improv scene, teaching at Bad Dog Theatre Company and performing in popular shows like Theatresports, Micetro, and Superscene. Gavin’s teaching reflects the spirit of Johnstone’s improvisation philosophy, focusing on narrative, spontaneity, and mischief. His screen credits include roles in Murdoch Mysteries, Schitt’s Creek, Kim’s Convenience and the upcoming Miniture Wife.
